1st Gloucester Antiques & Collectables Fair - 31st May to 1st June 2008 Great Success The 1st Gloucester Antiques & Collectables Fair was a great success. Fine weather and huge visitor numbers helped to get our new event off the ground and we are now looking forward to our next fair on 27th & 28th September 2008. Over 70 dealers offered a wide range of antiques and collectables to the public during the two day fair. With Gloucester Antiques Centre right next door, visitors had plenty to look at and buy.  Items on offer included fine silver and jewellery, furniture, scientific instruments, vintage clothing, glassware, china, collectable comics and autographs, prints, Chinese porcelain and clocks. BBC Bargain Hunt were out and about filming four episodes (including Celebrity Bargain Hunt) of the hugely popular television series for later in the year. Bargain Hunt is the second longest running antiques show on television and is now in its eighth year! The next Fair will be held at Gloucester Docks on 27th to 28th September 2008. BBC’s Bargain Hunt at Gloucester Antiques Centre Gloucester Antiques Centre was delighted to host the BBC and their ‘Bargain Hunt’ team in October 2007.  An episode of this popular television programme was recorded at the Centre and will be screened on 19th February 2008 at 12.15pm on BBC1.
